Hey, I’m Travis.
Licensed Associate Mental Health Counselor, BA, MA, MS, ACMHC
Serving UT and CO
My focus is on helping clients to develop the skills and deep insight to truly feel -not just intellectually understand- that they can be engaged, at peace, and successful in their lives.
Client Reviews
“Travis has significant training, and his willingness to combine intelligence, compassion, and a unique ability to connect has led me to an emerging understanding of myself. While Travis consistently tells me that I am doing the work, I can say honestly that I could not have reached this space without him. I currently occupy a space where my intense need to perform and please has been replaced by a humble appreciation that I am fully worthy of attention and praise, yet rather than prove it to the world each day, I now just let me flow.”
— Will
“Travis is a calm, capable mental health counselor. I’ve met with him many times and am very impressed with his knowledge of current techniques to clear past traumas as well as current ones. I definitely recommend him.”
— Lisa
“Travis has this uncanny way of making you feel heard and understood, even when you don’t know how to put things into words. And it’s not just talking, he helps push me to actually make the changes I need to. Each session leaves me thinking, reflecting, and actually feeling lighter.”
— Mike
My Approach
Most people don’t come to counseling just for insight—they come because they want real change they can feel in their daily lives. My approach emphasizes honoring each client’s autonomy and wisdom while working collaboratively to build the skills and resources they need to reach their goals. With this in mind, I focus on helping clients develop practical tools for grounding and resilience, so we can work together on the deeper patterns that contribute to stress, anxiety, fear, or unease.
I have experience working with neurodivergent youth, individuals navigating addiction and recovery, serious mental health conditions, incarcerated individuals, and those searching for meaning and purpose. I also support individuals and couples facing everyday concerns like relationship conflict, work stress, life transitions, or a desire for personal growth.
Every person is the expert on their own life—and therapy is a space to uncover and strengthen the resilience they already carry. Whether you're facing a significant challenge or simply want support in living with more clarity and confidence, I’m here to help. My practice is affirming of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship structures.
